A Home Born from Prayer…

For years, Terry Insco walked closely with women through addiction recovery, sober living, and rebuilding their lives with compassion, structure, and faith. During that time, there was a house directly across the street she prayed over for nearly four years, believing God could use it for something meaningful someday.

When the sober living ministry she had been leading unexpectedly came to an end, many women were left without stability and facing the possibility of homelessness again. In the middle of that uncertainty, God opened a door.

The owners of the house Terry had prayed over reached out, knowing the work she had been doing and wanting to help continue that mission in a new space.

That connection became what is now Saint Monica Home for Women.

Founded through the heart and vision of Terry and her daughter Taylor, Saint Monica exists to provide women with more than just housing — it’s a place for healing, structure, sobriety, community, and hope rooted in the love of Jesus.
